Gary Wright is Vice President in Charge of Operations with Williams Data Managemen and Joyce Yasamura of  Desert Reign Assembly of God in Downey, where she is an Office Administrator.

“Cell phones and laptops,” said Gary Wright, CSDS, to start off our program of Craft Talks.  Gary is Vice President in Charge of Operations with Williams Data Management, who specialize in certified document storage, shredding, and protecting; and business continuity planning.  With a staff of bonded drivers, Williams can retrieve and return your records to their storage units within the same day.  A great option for those who don’t really trust “the cloud.”

“She runs the Church” is how Joyce Yasamura was introduced.

That would be the Desert Reign Assembly of God in Downey, where Joyce is an Office Administrator.  What makes Desert Reign special is their belief in growing four areas: worship, care, prayer, and evangelism. And Joyce is a long-time friend Pastor Alex Bernard, also our club member, who specializes in Outreach and Evangelism.

Why is the church so big?  “We have so many missions,” said Joyce. One particular outreach that is a great example of care is their weekly offering of free food to anyone who needs it, or to anyone who knows someone who needs it.  Pastor Alex is the lynchpin, spending a good number of hours picking up donated foodstuff and keeping the food supply generously stocked for this much-needed gift to our community.

Joyce shared that she met her husband, Mr. Yasamura, thru the ministries they share. Both alone, they got to know each other thru serving others, and before long, it just clicked.
