The Summer of Salsa

Julio Barrenzuela is a Los Angeles based motivational speaker who specializes in using Latin music and dance to help participants gain a better understanding of themselves and of one's relationship with the larger community. 

He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served overseas as a Chaplain's Assistant. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a Master's degree in Media for social justice from Woodbury University in Burbank, California. 

Julio is best known around the country as the "Salsa Ambassador" for his commitment to promoting the benefits of having a "Salsa Night" in the community and for insurang that all people have at least one opportunity in their lives to Salsa "as they're able."
