Greetings, LA5 Family!
With the holidays here and 2023 coming to a close, I want to thank you for an amazing 6 months of LA5's 115th year of service. We've welcomed new members into our Club, heard from amazing distinguished speakers, and we've done a variety of service projects together for the betterment of our community.
This past weekend, 30 Rotarians met at A Place Called Home - our signature project/partner this year - to welcome 100 families throughout the day and usher them through ornament making, cookie decorating, writing thank you note cards, visiting with Santa, and collecting gifts that were curated especially for each family. It was a wonderful and impactful day of service and everyone at A Place Called Home was so grateful to have the assistance and support of LA5.
Until we next gather for our first meeting of 2024 on Friday, January 5, I wish you and your family a very meaningful holiday season.
