LA5 is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair for the students of Loreto St. Elementary.
This school hasn't had the opportunity to have a book fair in YEARS: what a treat!
Each student gets to take home any three books of their choosing. And the teachers and faculty get to pick out 300 books for their school library and classrooms!
Our job is to help the students pick out their books, some light setup and breakdown, and represent LA5 as the sponsor of the fair.
It's the easiest, most fulfilling two hours of your month - guaranteed!
We're looking for a max of 4-5 volunteers over two shifts: 8 am - 10 am OR 10 am - Noon on Wednesday, October 18.
(Loreto St. Elementary is located in Cypress Park off the 110.)
