PLEASE NOTE FROM THE CLUB BYLAWS:
"Any twenty-five (25) members may submit additional nominations for any office to be filled by petition delivered to the Secretary at least ten (10) days prior to the annual election." The annual elections will be held on December 8, 2023. "However, if on the said tenth (10th) day prior to the annual election, which shall be held the last meeting in December of each year, only one nominee for each office to be filled, including members for the Board of Directors, shall have been submitted, the President shall, at the annual election, declare the candidates elected to the office to which they have been nominated."
It is my hope that all LA5ers will join us at our December 8th meeting to formally elect the wonderful individuals who have been selected as our next class of leadership for LA5.
Please also join me in expressing a profound amount of gratitude for the board directors who will be terming off come the end of June. They have contributed - and continue to contribute - so much to our club. To Walker Railey, Azim Vishani, Jim Simonds, JT Warring, Meg Barron, and Tammy Nguyen: thank you for your leadership and your service.
