Heidi Huebner
PUP Program Director

Heidi grew up in Kansas City Missouri and currently lives in Los Angeles, CA.  She holds a BA in Communications from Chapman University.  Heidi has been involved with many organizations helping animals and educating the public for the last 20 plus years.  She was the Director of Volunteer Programs for Los Angeles Animal Services, Founder and Executive Director of KidsnPets, and the Director of Pals2Pets. Her passion for raising awareness thru education and public speaking is reaching out nationwide. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Pet Care Foundation.  She is excited to share that through their grooming program and shelter adoption events they have helped place over 6000 dogs and cats into to new loving homes in 2016.

 

Her current position is with Los Angeles World Airports as the PUP Program Director. She developed and created the program to alleviate stress and anxieties at airports.  The program allows an opportunity to provide an overall enhanced customer experience by providing stress relief and comfort to passengers through the interaction with pets. She has assisted 42 airports nationwide and internationally to start a program.  6 of the airports are in Canada, 1 in Milan Italy and hopefully Hamburg Germany in the near future.

 

She is the loving guardian of Sparkles and Smokie (cats) Chance and Sadie (Dogs) and Rosie (Horse)
