What is Youth Exchange?

Youth Exchange is a study-abroad opportunity for young people who spend anywhere from a few weeks to a full year as an international student hosted by local Rotary clubs.

Rotary District 5010 is actively seeking open-minded, flexible students who demonstrate leadership qualities and have high moral standards that will enable them to become excellent cultural ambassadors for their country and the Rotary club and district that supports them. District 5010 Rotary Youth Exchange provides students ages 15 to 17 with an opportunity to travel to a foreign country and experience the culture while serving as an ambassador for their home country. Youth Exchange is a live-in experience not a travel vacation.

It is common to hear returning exchange students say "it was the best year of my life."  Now is the time to consider making this life changing experience available to a young person you know.  Youth Exchange recruitment is beginning now, for study abroad in 2016-17.

Visit www.ye5010.org for all the details.

CAN I HOST AN EXCHANGE STUDENT?

Hosting an exchange student can be an incredibly rewarding experience for your family, providing an international experience without leaving home. Host families provide room and board and share their lives with exchange students, involving them in family, community, and cultural activities.
