Solace Fundraiser reaches $6,650!

The handcrafted "fair trade" jewelry sale for Solace International exceeded all expectations, raising $6,650 for international aid plus an additional $500 for Wasilla Rotary's local community projects!

Janet St. George at Towne Square Art Gallery sponsored the venue, providing elegant displays of Solace's gemstone jewelry and expert sales help to shoppers.  Thanks to Holly Gittlein for helping to get the word out in the valley community.  With refreshments cosponsored by Linda Brandon, State Farm Insurance and printing sponsored by Teresa Blume, club expenses were zero.  Thanks to all the Rotarians that shopped and supported this event! We look forward to seeing you & your loved ones wearing those jewels very soon!
