Rotary Club of Redding - Our Twin Club
As part of the Rotary's centennial celebration, RI encouraged clubs to participate twin club program. In the program, two clubs from different countries established strong ties and agreed to team up to carry out a centennial-year effort, be it an international service project, Rotary Youth Exchange, or Friendship Exchange. The program proved to be quite popular. More than 1,000 clubs formalized twin club partnerships.

Twin clubs

Twin clubs, or sister clubs, are two clubs from different countries that form a long-term relationship to promote international understanding and goodwill and carry out service projects in their communities. When looking for a partner, consider clubs that:

  • Share similar interests, challenges, or history
  • You’ve worked with in the past
  • Are located in a place that matches your club’s service interests
  • Speak a common language
Each year on a rotating basis, the clubs participate in a local or international project of the clubs choice at a value of $ 3000.00
In 2017, the Rotary Club of Redding , with partners including the Rotary Club of Chilliwack, provided updates to a school in Tepic, Mexico.
