Acknowledging outstanding graduating students who have provided exemplary service and leadership for their school and/or community is the focus of the Leaders of Tomorrow Program.

The Leaders of Tomorrow Program is one of the initiatives from the Rotary’s ‘Career and 4-Way Test Committee’.

The program is designed to promote and acknowledge graduating students from each of Chilliwack’s three high schools, how they have demonstrated the principles of the ‘Rotary 4-Way Test’, and how they have demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following areas: leadership, service, citizenship, and/or excellence in achievement.

The ‘4-Way Test’ is a motto that applies to the things we think, say or do: 1) Is it the truth?; 2) Is it fair to all concerned?;  3) Will it build goodwill and better friendships?; and 4) Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

The Leaders of Tomorrow Program has evolved over time since its conception in 2006.

The program is supported by the following stakeholders within our community: the three Rotary Clubs of Chilliwack (Rotary Club of Chilliwack, Rotary Club of Chilliwack-Fraser, Rotary Club of Chilliwack-Mt. Cheam), City of Chilliwack, Chilliwack secondary, Sardis secondary, G.W. Graham middle-secondary, Chilliwack School District, Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce, The Chilliwack Progress, Chilliwack Economic Partners, and supportive businesses within our community, namely: Alliance Truss, EZE Rent-it Centre, and the Tri-R Development Group.ram is one of the initiatives from the Rotary’s ‘Career and 4-Way Test Committee’.
