The 29th Annual Kodiak Island Golf Championship Tournament proudly sponsored by the Kodiak Morning Rotary Club (KMR) and Kodiak Golf Association was a huge success. This event was held at the Bear Valley Golf Course on September 5 and 6, 2015. The KMR thanks the many sponsors and those who contributed to this event.

2015 Holiday Party
Our first holiday pot luck was a huge success! Thank you Pat and Gordon for hosting. It was great being able to talk and mingle with more time then we get on Wednesday mornings. Plus the food was awesome.

Presidents Corner (Winter Update)
Hello Fellow Morning Rotarians,
Here is an update to my winter president’s message. 
We just wrapped up another successful year on our 'Coats For Kids' Project, thanks to the Kodiak Community, Quality Cleaners, Safeway, Al Burch and the Salvation Army.
We have had some special recognitions in our club that you might have missed.

Scholarship Quilt Raffle
This quilt was handmade by Marsha Voermans, Verna Swanson and Kate Tyner
and donated to Morning Rotary in loving memory of their sister, Chris McVay.
The beautiful long-arm quilting was done by Julie Bishop.
We hope this quilt finds a loving home and fills it with warmth and happiness.
Our family appreciated your contribution to the
