PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Who is ready for a new Rotary Year?

First:  Please congratulate Bridget on a excellent 2017-2018 for The Rotary Club of Juneau. It was a great year, and now I have the difficult duty of trying to step into her shoes.

On that note, I have just safely returned from the International Rotary Conference in Toronto, Canada and cannot wait to start the year off right with my first official meeting on July 3rd.  Please make sure to come to listen to Dr. Mark Peterson’s presentation on Mercy Ships.

Aaron
President 2018-2019
52 weeks to go…

Volunteers pause for a photo on bed move-in day, at the Juneau Housing First supportive housing unit, which will open mid-September. Rotarians came together from the Rotary Club of Juneau, Juneau-Gastineau Rotary, Juneau Glacier Valley Rotary, Rotary Club of Juneau 58º Innovators, Rotaract, and Interact clubs to purchase and distribute beds and mattresses into the building's 32 studio apartments.

Happy to announce the arrival of our inbound Rotary Youth Exchange student, Josephine. Hailing all the way from Denmark, we are thrilled to welcome her to the club, and to Juneau!
