Club meeting: March 24: Project Amigo

We had a fun meeting this week. We started with a solemn moment for both Frank's & Mike's families. Our prayers are with you. Then we celebrated Brad B's birthday. The song was loud, enthusiastic and heartfelt even if aren't quite ready for RACS. We had a lot of fun sharing anecdotes and pictures from our Project Amigo adventure. Lots of laughs, but also conveyed the importance of the project. The people, even the poorest we met were happy and grateful. It was an honor and a truly graceful experience to be part of the project. And, most importantly, a very very special Thanks to Ruth for buying the bottle of Tequila at auction. With her donation, she is now sponsoring 2 project amigo elementary school children. Congratulations! Doug, I expect cigars at our next meeting. Also thanks to Meg for bringing the tequila back from Mex.
