I am very thankful we have such a fun, irreverent Rotary Club. 

I enjoy seeing everyone on Thursday mornings.  I visited a

couple clubs recently, one of which I am a past president of.  I

was shocked at how low their membership roll has fallen in the

past 5 years.  We need to make sure that we don’t let that

happen to us!

It’s easy for Hillside to get new members now, while we are

having such a good time and actively providing service to our

community and the world.  Take advantage of this opportunity

to invite your friends and business associates to one of our

meetings.  We can sell our club without trying, all we have to

do is say, “Would you please join me for breakfast Thursday

morning?”

While I was out visiting other clubs, I was lucky enough to get

a goat.  I thought Dale was exaggerating when he said he

couldn’t tell which old goat was me.  On reviewing the photos,

I notice we do have the same hair color and style.  Good thing

I only fined him $5.
