The program on October 20 was an update on exciting progress in making the Christ-Yoder animal shelter a sustaining part of Burnet and Llano Counties into the future. Dr. Dan McBride is the area Veterinarian who tends the shelter animals, and has for a long time. Lynn Bishop is the Board president. There is reorganization going on to preserve and capitalize on the years of sacrifice by Lin Christ and Dee Yoder, the creators of the shelter.

The shelter provides important services for the citizens of Burnet and Llano counties and animals that have been abandoned, become lost or have been injured.  The Christ Yoder Animal Shelter offers adoptable animals which have been checked by a veterinarian, brought up to date on shots, checked for heart worms, and micro-chipped. When you're looking for a new 4-legged addition to your household, check there first!
