Mentoring scholars

The special relationship that Daybreak has with  the students at Falls Career High School just got more special. Many of our scholarship recipients don't have family with a background in getting to college so Daybreak is filling that gap.

 

Each recipient has been assigned a Rotarian to assist in all aspects of getting into a college or trade program and being able to fund it. This may entail assistance in choosing a major, finding the right school, applying for financial aid, obtaining housing, or any of the myriad of tasks that face a wannabe freshman. Kudos to those who volunteered to be a mentor.
