What is Daybreak Rotary of Marble Falls all about?

Children and education are two of the main areas where Daybreak shines. We have a special relationship with the Falls Career High School at MFISD, including them in most of our projects and making those students recipients of our scholarships. Abused and neglected children are another focus of Daybreak through our promotion of foster homes, an annual recognition of Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention month, and the annual Adoption Day.  Daybreakers are "hands on" with projects such as not only sponsoring but working at the Mustang Relays each year, putting on the entire Adoption Day event, and helping keep Rotary Field (ball fields) maintained and improved.

Rotarians are no longer just a collection of old white guys talking business. #DaybreakRotaryMF is all about service and "doing stuff" and proper public relations will let the world know what we do.

A recent online article on the Bill Gates blog caught my attention about RI's participation in eradicating the world of the polio virus. His blog mentioned only the Global Polio Eradication Initiative  and not Rotary's PolioPlus and that led me to look up the GPEI. While at first I thought Gates and the GPEI were hijacking the role of Rotary, I was pleasantly surprised.
