1991-92 - Dennis Mullen, President 

The club sponsored Jeff Hemeseth as Group Study Exchange member to Japan and a club member served as Sector Chair for the incoming G.S.E. team. WHRC focused on ecology yet again by planting a flowering crabapple tree in Wilmette and sponsored the Governor's Walk at the Botanic Gardens. The club, led by Rotarian Ted Welch, also began its participation in a national Beach Sweep, gathering 60 bags of trash from the shores of Gillson Beach. The program continues annually to the present day. Rotarian Diane Teska served as Rotary Host Counselor for a R.I. Ambassadorial Scholar from England, Nicola Ibison. Rotarian-of-the-Year: Andy Hansen.
