Herb and his committee has selected the organizations which are awaiting approval from the Foundation Baord. b) Chris Cole and John Kay gave an update on the Refugee Project - Refugee One Training will take place here at the Wilmette Harbor Club on Monday, June 5th from 6.30 to 8.30. Dinner will be provided. For more information or to get involved, please contact Chris Cole. c) Soup Kitchen -Next one is June 5th d) We are working on the plans for the Rotary Garden in partnership with the Ouilmette Foundation. The new Rotary Garden has been designed the same designer that did the Chicago Botanic Gardens and will be located in front of our current Pasek Garden. e) Last Saturday, May 20 Elmwood Dunes work party took place in the rain from 9 - 11. The next one is scheduled for Saturday, June 10th. f) Rotary International Conference in Atlanta June 11 - 14 - please let me know if anyone would like more details. g) The Installation Dinner and Golf Outing will be held on Tuesday, June 27th at Wilmette Golf Course. h) George Pearce is organizing a group - Join us on Saturday July 29th for the 2017 District 6440 Rotary Road Trip to Miller Park, and honor our Veteran friends from Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center. The game features the defending World Champion Chicago Cubs at the Milwaukee Brewers! She is a member of the Barrington Breakfast Rotary Club Dr. Grace has had a private practice in Barrington since 1979. Areas of expertise include work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Dr. Grace takes a Holistic approach to her patient’s problems and helps them look at all aspects of their life including lifestyle, relationships, career issues, stress management, life purpose, and spiritual growth in order to help them with depression, anxiety, grief, and other emotional and relationship issues. She has given hundreds of workshops and talks on such topics as: Teaching Children to be Cooperative, Women’s Midlife Issues, Stress Reduction Using Relaxation and Meditation, How to Evaluate Children’s learning Problems, Healing Trauma, and Using Therapeutic Essential Oils for Depression and Anxiety Dr. Barbara Grace, Ph.D., NCSP, CACHt., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Nationally Certified School Psychologist, and Certified Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Northern Illinois University (1979) and Hypnotherapy training through the Wellness Institute. Her Post Doctoral training includes Cognitive Therapy, Gestalt Principles, Shamanic Studies, and Thought Field Therapy.
