Last week's meeting We held our monthly club forum and discussed our current year and potential goals for the new year. We also discussed the potential for in-person meetings. The current plan is to have our June 16th meeting in-person and tentatively return to in-person meetings beginning June 23rd. This week's meeting Corinne McClintic and committee members have been diligently working on the May 26th meeting agenda. The meeting feature Wilmette’s Police Chief Kyle Murphy and Fire Chief Brian Lambel. We will also be joined by such distinguished guests as Michael Braiman-Village Manager, Sonia Plunkett-Village President, Kathy Dodd-Village Trustee, Steve Wilson-Executive Director of Wilmette Park District and Anthony Auston-Director of Wilmette Public Library. This meeting is the first of the series sponsored by the Wilmette Harbor Rotary Club to further link the Rotary efforts to our immediate Community which will inform both volunteer and grant efforts going forward. - Mark your calendar for our June 2 first Wednesday evening social night. The focus will be DEI initiatives.
