a) George Pearce, the incoming President for 2017/2018 distributed voting ballots for next year's board. The slate included - Tom Ryan - President Elect; Jack Close - Secretary; Ben Ivory - Director; Sue Segal - Director and Jim Bowman Director. The following board members will continue to serve: John Bowman - Treasurer; Ellen Greenberger - Director; Jim Griffith - Director. George is looking a volunteer to serve a 1 year term as Director. If anyone is interested, please contact George.
b) Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) Ellen Falkof (we are sponsoring 3 students), retreat are March 9 - 12 and April 6 - 9 - applications can be found on our web site. We are selecting our RYLA students on Feb. 13th.

d) John Kay and Tom Ryan gave an overview of the ABC's of Rotary seminar held on Monday, Jan. 23rd.
e) Our District has organized an outing to the Windy City Bulls basketball game on Saturday, 2/11. A portion of the proceeds will go to the End Polio Now Campaign. For more information please go to -

f) Any interesting in getting a group together to see Shen Yun on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 7:30 at the Harris Theater. A sign in sheet was passed around. If we need at least 10 people to commit. Not enough interest so we will not be going.
g) District Conference is on April 28 - 30th at the Marriotte Lincolnshire Resort.
