Good news/Bad news:

o John Wertymer announced The Cornelia Arts Building is having a Holiday Open house from 6 - 10PM this Friday and from 1 - 5PM on Saturday.  www.corneliaartsbuilding.com

o Also, his oldest granddaughter, Madison Wilson, was captain of the Deerfield H.S. swim team.  She notes that her swim times would allow her to complete on the M.I.T. swim team to which she is applying as her "safety school."

o John Bowman talked about his niece who was sick a while back.  Great news is that while she was visiting, he found out she was pregnant again.  Bad news was, she returned home to New York to the 5 feet plus of snow!

o Ellen shared that she will have a small group at her house for Thanksgiving and she is opening her house to others to join her.   If you'd like to join Ellen for Thanksgiving dinner please let her know immediatelyASAP, (ph: cell  847/722-3157 or home 847/251-3623 as she is picking up the turkey later today.   Dinnertime:  6 on Thursday. AWESOME!  Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Shenanigans:

Tim Frenzer – provided “The worst Thanksgiving Jokes”.  He suggest the quicker and louder we groaned the sooner he would quit sharing.

Speaker:  John Reilly – President Emeritus of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs
Subject:   The Obama foreign policy

* He inherited a very bad situation
* Most controversial decision was with Syria where he decided not to get involved.
* The single largest mistake he has made has been that  he has not carried out his commitments, and this continues to erode America’s Credibility.
* His legacy remains uncertain.
