George Pearce visited Honolulu Rotary club and brought back a banner. They are really happy there.
 
Linda Frothingham invited members to participate in the Go Green Wilmette event March 9. 
 
Walter is turning 90. In lieu of a birthday song, he asks members to make a donation to The Rotary Foundation
 
Ellen Falcoff reserved a table on March 22 for the Kids Against Hunger, food packing service event on March 22 from 11-1:00     p.m. at the Winnetka Community House. The Winnetka-Northfield Rotary Club has organized this event. Let her know if you’d like to participate.

Haven looks for solutions to problems family's face today. They are holding a benefit on April 12.
Haven Youth and Family Services fosters positive mental health of youth and their families in the community by offering programs focused on prevention, intervention and counseling.
 
Haven is committed to supporting youth 24 hours a day to skillfully navigate through adolescence. Haven was founded in 1976 when a group of churches in Wilmette began an outreach program for youth.  Soon after, Haven became a 24 hour crisis intervention service provider. Haven has continued to grow and now offers specialized treatment programs for adolescents and their families.  Haven licensed therapists provide treatment to teens who are struggling with depression, substance-abuse, or pressure, stress, family conflict, and a variety of other mental health issues.
 
Haven offers the following services: 
* confidential team and family counseling. 
* 24 hour crisis intervention. 
* Emergency housing. 
* Workshops. 
* Referrals. 
* Outreach services.
*  Youth board. 
* Clubs and groups. 
* Service – learning opportunities.
