• What is (was) your day job? Yoga Instructor
 
• What is your favorite book? or book genre? I have a few – Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck, Cry the Beloved Country by Alan Paton, The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck, Beloved by Toni Morrison, City of Thieves by David Benioff.  I love fiction when it tells a timeless story about humanity.

• If you were in charge, what would you mandate be the national pastime? Gardening  - I think it is important for all of us to know where our food comes from and how challenging the process of growing it can be.  I also believe it would give us a greater appreciation of the Earth in general and the fragile environment in which we live.

• What are your hobbies? Reading, tennis, walking, I love movies and the theatre and I travel whenever I can

 • What would you like to tell members about yourself or your recent activities?  I am new to the club, but as many already know I was drawn to Rotary because of their commitment to Polio eradication around the world. 
 
• What do most people not know about you? I’m not sure.  I’m pretty much an open book and will be honest with people if they ask me a question about myself.

• How do you pitch Rotary? I say it is a group of like minded individuals who are interested in giving back to their community, their country, the world.
 
• What aspect of Rotary makes you passionate to be involved?  Their commitment to Polio eradication.

• What is your most memorable experience in Rotary?  I believe it is still to come.
