• What was or is your career? 

For about 20 years I worked for various large, commercial real estate developers. For the last 9 years I've worked for GLC Custom Media, a small Nothbrook company that creates newsletters, journals, and magazines for corporations and associations.

favorite non-fiction: 
Human Action, by Ludwig von Mises. An economics treatise that lays out the foundation of free-market economics.
 
favorite fiction: 
And Ladies of the Club, Helen Hooven Santmeyer
Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand 

I read a lot of history and biographies. My recent favorites are:
Infidel, by Ayan Hirsi Ali

reading, walking, Rotary, genealogy

I play classical piano

with excitement and enthusiasm

•  What is your most memorable experience in Rotary? 
meeting the goals set for my first holiday fundraiser

•  Were you exposed to Rotary as a child? 
My father was a founding member of the Lake Forest club in 1960. I remember his club as being very much like ours - dynamic, gregarious, and fun - with lots of teasing.
