Operation Pollination

Operation Pollination: In 20 minutes, learn how your District/Club can get involved in this very simple "7th area of focus project" with Christopher Stein, of the National Park Service and a longtime Rotarian. This was originally presented to the Winnetka/Northffield Rotary.

It offers a blueprint for a club (or district) to join in an effort to propagate environments for pollinators that are responsible for the reproduction of many fruits and vegetables.  One specific example is with Monarch butterflies that includes working with a local school district … as well as connecting with a Rotary club (and school) in Mexico.  No money appears to be necessary, and it could be a newsworthy environmental project.
