Tony Hyler was presented a major Recognition Award from Equine Dreams acknowledging his many hours of service and considerable financial support given by Tony and his wife, Ann. This presentation was made by our Club President, Rich Kitick. Equine Dreams specializes in providing therapeutic horse riding for special needs children, teens, and adults. Tony has led his Rotary Club in our support of this excellent endeavor in helping our fellow man!! Congrats Tony!!!

Our Noon Rotary Club, together with School District 303's St. Charles East and North educators and students, are planning to sell and race on the Fox River several thousand hot yellow ducks for our first annual Ducky Derby fundraiser which benefits Rotary Scholarships and the high schools' Hope Clubs Mental Health focus.

Please stop by our Brat Stand at this year's St. Charles Scarecrow Fest and enjoy some delicious bratwurst and pulled pork sandwiches. All proceeds go toward providing college scholarships to students from local high schools. The event takes place October 8, 9, and 10th and our booth is along the west edge of Lincoln Park in St. Charles, on 5th Street.

Club members, their families and friends are invited to join in bell ringing for the Salvation Army, Saturday, December 7th at Jewel Food at North Ave and Kirk Rd. Over 500 people were in attendance for an Evening of Chicago Bluegrass on Friday night at the Arcada Theater in St. Charles! The event featured the Henhouse Prowlers and the music played til about 10:30 PM! Money raised will support both Rotary Club of St. Charles and the River Corridor Foundation of St. Charles.
