Rotary Club Grants Empower Local Nonprofits 💙

Each year, the Rotary Club of Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates proudly awards grants to local nonprofits making a difference in our community. Led by Past President Rachel Hubsch, this year’s committee selected impactful projects that align with Rotary values.

Here are the 2025 recipients:

• Lost Souls – Supporting Alzheimer’s facilities with engaging, comforting resources.

• Child’s Voice – Tools for early intervention for children with hearing loss.

• D54 Autism Resource Center – Adaptive instruments for students with disabilities.

• Journey’s Road Home – Food and case management for individuals facing homelessness.

• Boys & Girls Club – Summer health workshops for at-risk youth.

• Fellowship Housing – Helping single moms keep kids fed and covered.

• Northwest Compass – Career coaching for unstably housed youth.

• HOTT Productions – Theater training for individuals with disabilities.

• Family Forward – Rental assistance for families working to rise out of poverty.

Francesco Arezzo Named 2025–26 Rotary International President 🇮🇹

Following the resignation of RI President-elect Mário César Martins de Camargo, the Board has selected Francesco Arezzo of the Rotary Club of Ragusa, Italy, as Rotary International President for 2025–26.

Arezzo, an orthodontist and longtime Rotarian with over 30 years of service, will begin his term on July 1. His presidential theme remains "Unite for Good," encouraging Rotarians to build unity through service in a divided world.

Arezzo is a Major Donor, international leader, and dedicated community advocate. He and his wife, Anna Maria, have two children.
