“District Governor Adams commented, “Club President Terry Parke and The Rotary Club of Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates have impressed the heck out of me this entire year. I had numerous conversations with Terry Parke, and how I believe his club should be one of the showcase clubs in District 6440, for other clubs to learn from.

“The club met all of their club Rotary International Giving and Community involvement goals, and has ended the year with a large increase in membership (net 11) to rank in the top 2 (out of 70 clubs). Terry is employed full time at the Pathway to Adventure Council, Boy Scouts of America, yet worked with his club’s leadership team this year to insure their club was a top performer in the district.

“Additionally, for community involvement and giving, they set a new standard. Their next community goal to benefit all of our clubs and the community at large is to grow their “Fishing Well Scholarship” in partnership with other district clubs and Harper College.”

District Governor Rodney Adams and President Terry Parke recognized Terry’s leadership team, Bill Kelley, Cris Hinojosa, Steve Lamp, Eileen Higginbotham, Julie Clark, Mike Ericksen, Nancy Redmon, Stephanie Sarnoff, and Anita Forte-Scott.

Culminating the evening’s festivities, Terry Parke passed the club’s gavel to the 2016-2017 President Bill Kelley who was installed by incoming District Governor Rick Rivkin.
