Schaumburg A.M. Rotary is seeking outstanding local high school students to participate in one of two Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) retreats (3 nights / 4 days) scheduled for either March 8 - 11 or April 12 - 15, 2018 at Edwards Camp & Conference Center in East Troy, Wisconsin, located near Alpine Valley.

The purpose of RYLA is to recognize young people who have demonstrated leadership skills or show potential to be leaders and provide them with an opportunity to explore and further develop these skills with others with similar capabilities. Student feedback on this experience is that it is always outstanding.  Take a look at the video below to learn more about the RYLA retreat experience.

Any high school age student in District 211 (current freshman through senior) is eligible. Students do not have to possess any specific qualifications or grade point average. Most students who attend are typically very involved in their school or community, although this is not the case with every individual. Anyone/Everyone who attends will have fun and get a lot out of the conference.
