The Village of Schaumburg hosted its 31st Annual Volunteer of the Year Awards Luncheon on April 18 at Chandler's Banquets, during which time the Interact Club of Robert Frost Jr. High School was named its 2018 Volunteer Organization of the Year. 
 
Schaumburg AM Rotary is proud sponsor of this group of young humanitarians who are making a difference at their school and in their community.  Schaumburg AM Rotarian Lori Corrigan serves as the liaison between the two groups.
 
Bill Kurtis, acclaimed documentary host, producer and broadcaster, was the luncheon's keynote speaker. 
 
Awards recognizing the Volunteer of the Year in the Adult, Organization and Youth categories were presented by Schaumburg Village President Al Larson.
