Club member attends Michigan World Peace Conference
Schaumburg AM Rotarian Lori Corrigan, Rotary Peace Fellow applicant Alyssa Strickland and AG Suzanne Gibson and husband Mark participated in the March 31 - April 1 Rotary World Peace Conference that took place at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
The conference focused on how to prevent and mediate conflict and provided a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and solutions with professionals from government, business, healthcare, media, and faith-based organizations.
The goal of this gathering was to empower community leaders, Rotarians, youth, and others to promote and practice peace in their own communities and beyond.
Thanks to the Michigan, northern Indiana, northwest Ohio and southern Ontario based Rotary clubs for hosting this event.
