On December 20th Schaumburg AM Rotarians presented a check to Schaumburg Township Food Pantry representatives that will be used to fund pantry community support services, including the purchase of food from the Greater Chicago Food Depository to stock the pantry's shelves during the holiday season and beyond.
Hunger and food insecurity don’t discriminate. They affect people of all ages, races, and genders.  Neighbors needing food are much closer to us than many realize and they exist in every community in Cook County, including the northwest suburbs.
This winter many struggle to afford the cost of food and heating bills.  Through this donation our intent is to fill plates and offer hope to families in need...for need has no season.
