News Release for Immediate Distribution by Park Ridge Rotary

Park Ridge Rotary kicks off new year of fruit sales for local programs to help others.


Last year these programs helped:

Scholarships:

Brad Markovich a graduate of Main East for fireman education.

Vanessa Righeimer a graduate of Fenwick HS for college program of social studies to help others.

Ms Andrea Markovich librarian at Franklin School in her continuing studies for human wild life co-existence.

Hospice:

Rotary Bear purchased by Rotary helped support inpatient unit at St. Mathew Center for Health in Park Ridge for

terminally ill patients some of which were homeless.

Coats for Kids:

Thru Center of Concern Rotary gave winter coats for local needy children who didn't have winter coats.

St. Mary's:

Rotary gave money to refurbish facilities to help St Mary's for the programs with women who had unplanned pregnancies.

Sunday Supper:

Park Ridge Rotarians provided and served food at St Paul of the Cross Sunday Supper for those less fortunate.

Food Pantry:

Provided food for distribution by Maine Township Food Pantry.
