The Power of Two

Since her retirement from the principalship of Emerson Middle School in 2011, Dr. Victoria Mogiol has served the students and teachers of numerous Chicago Public Schools as the  Project Director of two federal grants designed to strengthen the academic performance of their sixth through eighth graders.  Vicki will discuss the joys and setting. 

VICKI MOGIL is the Illinois Project Director for National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform’s School Transformation Network and Power of Two grants in the Chicago Public Schools.  A career-long middle-grades educator, she opened and  subsequently served as principal of Emerson Middle School in Niles, Illinois for  fourteen years.  Emerson is an Illinois Horizon Schools to Watch school.   Vicki  serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Illinois Middle-Grade Schools,  and she holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Loyola University  Chicago.
