Please note: We will not have our regular Tuesday meeting on November 10th. Instead, we will meet on Thursday, November 12th at 5:30 pm at Five Seasons Sports Club located at 1300 Techny Road in Northbrook. Tuesday, November 17, 2015 we will have an update on the Rotary Foundation.

Welcome to the Club: Our newest member, John Cavanaugh was inducted at the November 3rd meeting. John was sponsored by Alan Karzan. We look forward to getting to know John. Lucky Bucks: Winner of last week’s Lucky Bucks was Sam Harris. For your calendar: November 6th: Rotary Club of Deerfield's Game Night from 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm at the Deerfield Golf Course located at 1201 Saunders Road, Riverwoods. Click here for more information. November 6th: Rotary Club of Wilmette's Wine, Dine and Dance Gala from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm at the Hilton Double Tree in Skokie. Visit www.wilmetterotary.org for more information. November 7th: Waterways Gas and Wash at 2300 Waukegan Road (north of Willow) in Northbrook will donate all the proceeds from car washes on Saturday, November 7th to Glenbrook North High School's Annual Canned Food Drive. November 10th: NO MEETING November 12th: Meeting at Five Seasons Sports Club, 1300 Techny Road, Northbrook beginning at 5:30 pm November 14th: The Doobie Brothers will be performing a concert benefiting Keshet at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts. Visit www.keshet.org for more information. November 14th & 15th: Glenbrook North is hosting a food drive at Sunset Foods on Saturday, November 14th and Sunday, November 15th from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Help them fill a truck with non-perishable food items for the Annual Canned Food Drive. November 24th: Coat Off Your Back. Together with the Rotary Club of Deerfield we will be hosting the Executive Director and Board President of PADS-Lake County. PADS will be receiving the items that are collected by the Coat Off Your Back drive. Rotary 800: Mark your calendar. This year's Rotary 800 will be held on Sunday, February 14th. More details to follow. Operation Santa Claus: Gary Moriello was happy to report that the Yeager School in North Chicago has joined Operation Santa Claus. There are 140 students in the 3rd grade classes at Yeager School who will need sponsors. If you can sponsor a child, please let Gary know. Wish lists will be available at our next regular Tuesday meeting. Thanks to Jim Karagianis for organizing the recent Happy Hour event at The Curragh.
