Gratitude Generation Utilizes Grant Money to Help Families in Need
From g2's recent newsletter: “Heavy Lifting with Heavier Impact” (emphasis added)
Annually, g2's Cleaning with Meaning program puts some heavy demands on g2HQ and the volunteers helping in advance of, during and after the program. Some 445 buckets of cleaning supplies don't come together without a lot of time and muscle!
But the heavy lifting leads to even heavier impact, all at the core of g2's mission.
This year's program was once again supported by the Rotary Club of Northbrook's grant program (thank you, Rotarians!), it included three events, dozens of volunteers and pallets upon pallets of buckets and cleaning supplies.
All of this resulted in providing cleaning essentials to families in need and people moving into more stable housing through our 'friendships' with Roberti Community House, A Safe Place, Windy City Cares and Northfield Township.
Cleaning definitely comes with meaning when it also comes with a gratitude GLOW because Gratitude Lights Our World!
