POST IDEA:
Staying up to date on routine immunizations is important for protecting children against a variety of dangerous and deadly diseases. It is also a key strategy in the fight to #EndPolio for good. endpolio.org

POST IDEA:
We’re on a mission to find the 12.5 million unvaccinated children around the world. Donate to help @Rotary get lifesaving polio vaccines to every child. #EndPolio #VaccinesWork endpol.io/give

POST IDEA:
Strong routine immunization systems everywhere are critical to stopping transmission of polio, sustaining eradication, and eliminating and better controlling other vaccine-preventable diseases. #EndPolio endpolio.org

POST IDEA:
When @Rotary formed PolioPlus 1985 to #EndPolio, polio paralyzed 1,000+ children every single day in 125 polio-endemic countries. Because #VaccinesWork, just 2 countries remain wild polio-endemic. endpolio.org

POST IDEA:
#DYK @Rotary members have contributed more than USD$2.6 billion dollars and countless volunteer hours to the fight to #EndPolio. Together with our partners we immunize over 400 million children every year. endpol.io/give

POST IDEA:
As the first organization to envision a polio-free world through mass immunization of children, @Rotary believes the decision to vaccinate is a humanitarian imperative. #EndPolio endpolio.org

POST IDEA:
Just 2 polio drops can make a world of difference in the life of a child. A donation to @EndPolioNow helps @Rotary and partners obtain the vaccines, transport, and personnel needed in the fight to #EndPolio for good: endpol.io/give

Operation Warm - Winnetka Rotary

6th Annual Benefit supporting the Rotary Club of Winnetka's Operation Warm was held last week.

Club Rotarian Ron Bernardi was joined by Kathi Quinn and Alisha Martorano to celebrate (thanks Ron!)

Rich and his club want to remind everyone about Operation Warm their annual coat drive.

Rich also noted that there will be an opportunity for Rotarians to participate in giving out coats at the Rogers Park Library on Saturday, November 23 in the afternoon, more details to come - check out their website.

We can do this!

How one company is using customer opinions to generate millions for nonprofits & now our club!!

Northbrook Rotary Club members,

On 10/21/24 we will begin a new fund-raiser overseen by a company named HundredX.

It will involve no monetary outlay from you, your family or friends. The fund-raiser will involve each of us selecting and rating, by email text or both, up to 75 brands or companies from a list of 3000.

SCOPE:
The ratings are simple and can each be done in less than two minutes.
For each we will receive $1.60 with a maximum recovery of $10,000 for the club.
The project will end on 11/18/24.
All opinions are private and personal information will not be shared.

CONTINUED:
We will not be able to reach $10,000 with our present membership of 54.

Therefore, I am requesting that each member recruit at least one non-Rotarian, over the age of 18, to take part in this survey.

Each member will receive, around 10/21/24, an email advising you of the link to use in order for you to sign up, and there will be a section to click in order for you to invite others to sign up.

Debbie Madeley, Rick Rivkin and Sandy Frum have all volunteered to assist anyone having difficulty with the technical aspects of this project. Feel free to reach out to them if you run into difficulty.

Denis
