Members Needed to Serve (a message from Gary Moriello)
According to our bylaws, our nominating committee has to meet and select a board for the 2019-2020 Rotary year, and present it to the membership at our second regular meeting in November.
We are asking YOU, the members of the Rotary Club of Northbrook, to suggest members to be nominated for service on the board. Please be as specific as possible. And yes, you can suggest yourself, and you may also suggest members who are currently serving on the board, or who have served on the board in past years.
The board positions that need to be filled for 2019-2020 include President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, Sergeant-at-Arms, and the chairs of the following committees: membership, fund raising, community service, foundation, club service, international service, grants, vocational service, youth service and public relations.

November 14th: Club Board Meeting 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Northbrook Public Library. All are welcome to attend.
November 15th: Illinois Holocaust Museum visit. The club is arranging a visit to the Holocaust Museum on Thursday, November 15th. Attendess will meet at the museum at 4:30. Sam Harris will lead the group on a tour of the museum. Following the tour the group will have dinner. Please RSVP to Suzi Gantz by November 6th.
