We were visited by Andrew Osborne, Superintendent of Educational Facilities for the Lake County Forest Preserves. He filled us in on the history of the old Lake County Museum, which closed in 2016 to prepare for the opening of the replacement and newly named Dunn Museum in Libertyville. About 3000  visitors attended the reopening recently.

Many of us will be visiting the Dunn Museum as a result of this exposure to a unique and valuable asset in our area. Others should put it on the list of things to do. Thanks, Andrew and thanks to Greg for arranging it on short notice.
