The Magic of Lurie Children's Hospital

At our meeting of March 8th, guest Karl Maurer (left) talked about the his involvement with Ann & Robert H Lurie Children's Hospital, starting with his son's medical condition, and later as a volunteer and advocate for patients.  Rich Goode, the Senior Planned and Major Gifts Officer at the hospital's Foundation, (second from right) then shared information about developments at the hospital and explained how contributions help them deliver their vision of making the world a better place for children and families.  Also pictured are Club President Sara Knight and program host Ed Cruickshank.
