Serge Minin noted the meeting technology for those attending virtually was working well. He suggested one thing to suggest is to have someone at Walker Brothers join the meeting in the room too to assist in picking up the audio for the meeting for remote attendees.
Stan Roelker noted CASA will be coming to the club meeting on November 4 to speak to the club. Closetworks is scheduled for September 23, 2021. Alan Nerad suggested Stan Roelker let Shire Law know that the Closetworks representative is speaking.

Alan Nerad shared the club is proud owners of the corn roaster solely. Alan Nerad shared his discussion with the Mundelein/Vernon Hills club on how the Ribfest corn sales went. Vernon Hills/Mundelein club indicated they were willing to give up the ownership of the roasting unit and no longer wish to be involved in corn sales. Alan explained Vernon Hills Park District will store the roaster for the time being. Alan Nerad asked if the club wanted to reach out to other clubs like Buffalo Grove on possible shared expense of the roaster. Do we want to rent out the roaster to other clubs/organization. Alan Nerad noted we need to confirm titling of the vehicle to ensure it is held solely by the Lincolnshire club. A discussion of options for the corn roaster followed.
Janice noted it sounds like money needs to go to repairs and retitling of the unit. Alan Nerad noted once we get a hold of it, club members need to take it apart to perform repair and routine maintenance.
Nancy Bruzzini inquired if the club have insurance in the event something happens. Alan Nerad noted the use of the roaster is covered under Rotary liability.
Serge Minin express concern about the potential downside should something go wrong if a different club uses the roasting unit. A discussion of options for use of the corn roaster followed.
