Announcement: Alan Nerad called the meeting to order and thanked everyone for attending. Alan Nerad introduced the three scholarship winners. Alan Nerad noted the club would be discussing succession planning and club business at next week's meeting.

Nancy Bruzzini expressed she was proud of the three scholarship recipients for their service to others. Nancy noted she was a high school history teacher and expressed her appreciation for teenagers and all their contributions to the community. She thanked the recipients for their service to others and encouraged them to keep up their activities as they move on from high school.

Trisha Patel the first scholarship recipient provided a brief presentation. She noted since graduation in May, she started college at UCLA. She noted she has not been in attendance in person for class yet. She noted she is a cognitive science major at UCLA. She noted she joined the Daily Bruin in the design department. She is hoping this helps her to explore UI design.

Ethan Batko second scholarship recipient spoke to the group about what he has been up to since the scholarship was awarded. Ethan has taken a job at Jewel-Osco pickup and go to help provide groceries and medicines to people who do not want to go in the store. Ethan noted he attends University of Connecticut and is part of the D1 swim program. Ethan noted he also got involved with a lab. Ethan Batko noted he would be volunteering in the spring of 2021 at Advocate Condell Hospital in the nursing unit to gain experience before continuing on the pre-med route. He noted he plans to continue studying in Connecticut online for spring semester.

Alex Mun third scholarship recipient shared an update on his work since graduation in the spring. Alex shared he started a STEM program through the Waukegan Park District and did many sessions virtually. He discussed his participation in Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organization. He shared information on classes a Notre Dame and attendance at football games.  Expressed a great thanks to Rotary and Rotary Youth Club for the experiences in high school and thanked the Bruzzini's for their contribution to the scholarship program.

Rotary Youth Club Alan Nerad introduced other members of the Rotary Youth Club board on the call. The members of the LIncolnshire Rotary Club received an update on the activities of the Rotary Youth Club for the year. Nikhith Rao noted the club has been hosting online meetings every other week. He noted the club has continued many of the programs from previous years.  He noted trivia night would be held again on January 29, 2021. Bhavya Sharma noted the club participated in a hygiene drive and collected numerous times. The club also collected books in the Stevenson High School parking lot - nearly 300 books collected. The club has created holiday activities for Sprague Elementary students. Club members led activities with them that were holiday themed.

Adi Nair noted the upcoming semester plans include hosting two separate trivia nights. Planning to invite more guest speakers to come in, more drives, and more activities with elementary students.  

Alan Nerad introduced Barb Tolbert and noted she is running for Stevenson High School school board. Serge Minin thanked Barb Tolbert for bringing her friend before the club earlier this summer to talk about equity in the work place.
