Announcement: Alan Nerad introduced Assistant Governor Suzanne Martinez. Alan Nerad then introduced guests from the Shire Law Group, Caren Naidoff and Alan Press, and Glenn Meier from the Buffalo Grove Club.

Alan Nerad reported that on March 6, 2020 Rotary Youth Club plans to host a Trivia Night from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Alan provided an update on the RYC shirt order. Alan noted once the shirts are delivered, the bill will be process by the club.

A discussion of 5K Race and race planning for Fourth of July followed.

Alan shared information on club scholarship program. Alan discussed the rules of the scholarship program and limitation on dependents of club members from receiving the award.

Suzanne Martinez provided announcements/remarks regarding district activities. Suzanne noted it appears Alan is going to be President-Elect coming in the coming year. She encouraged members to consider a leadership position as it is good to have the change in leadership year to year. Suzanne noted this year was one of the best youth assembly have ever participated in with the district. She explained that the assebmly hosted a number of people speaking remotely to mentor youth. Suzanned encourage all members to mentor youth as part of Rotary service. Suzanne shared she would be happy to go along with club members and meet with any prospective members as her time allows.

A discussion of Project Fair and Grant Management Seminar on February 15, 2020 followed.

Stan reminded everyone to pay their dues.

Speaker: Caren and Allen from Shire Law Group provided a presentation on "Your Estate Planning Roadmap." The speakers talked about building a roadmap for estate planning, elder law, long-term care.

The speakers provided a brief review of estate planning documents. They then discussed documents needed in medical emergency and during a time of possible disability.

The speakers presented all members in attendance with their own individual roadmap planning documents included in a informal binder to provide easy direction to loved ones.
