BRAGS:

-Scott Hezner told us of the passing of his mother-in-law. “She was all right”.

-Doug Fendon passed out Yeti mugs to everyone. Thanks Doug!

 

-We have sold 40 tickets to the Spring fundraiser so far. We have secured a $5k sponsor and can use more. A Presenting Sponsor is $10k. Based on the number of tickets, we need to double the silent auction items. It is never too early to get them in to Steve Risley.

 

-12/31 will be the 12^th anniversary of Ron Lapins as a Club member.

 

-There will be no meeting next week.

 

Rob Likus conducted a Family Feud contest that pitted tables against each other with musical questions.

 

Our speaker today was our own Elliot Pinsel. He thanked the Club for our participation in the annual ornament drive he organizes. He started in 1991 hoping to get 20 ornaments and got 80! The next year he did 300 residents of the Ann Kiley Center and currently works with: Staben House, Catholic Charities, Arden Shore and Ann Kiley. He has been doing his holiday effort for 30 years and is part of a larger effort that helps 9,000 to 13,000 needy people each year. He passed around pictures of the warehouse where the gifts are stored and distributed.
