President Pinsel rang the bell, John McDonald gave the pledge, Jeff Harger led us in prayer, and we concluded with the song “Roll out the barrel” from songmeister Kratohwil.

 

-Patricia Bleck just returned from a trip to Ireland and son Brian and his wife had a baby boy. She is officially a grandma! She must have left the cigars in Ireland.

 

-Doug Fendon visited the Baseball Hall of Fame and made a side trip to Saratoga where the Americans beat the British in 1777.

 

-Ron Lapins was on the trip with Doug and Doug drove. They returned safely!

 

-Tom Gore returned from two trips. He visited White Fish, Montana and Hilton Head Island. The recent hurricane missed their location. He is happy to be back.

 

-Rob Likus reminded us that we can be a website sponsor for a mere $5 per quarter.

 

-We have sold 120 tickets to the Fall Fundraiser. Buy and sell tickets PLEASE!

 

-Diana Servos reported that there is a Service Partners event on 11/9 at the Parched Pub.

 

-Pumpkinfest was a success. Robin O’Connor signed up but failed to show so she was wheeled.  

 

Jim Curtis entertained us with 2 quizzes: Best all-time movies and Cubs/Sox trivia. Cracker Jack prizes were awarded.

 

There was no program today making my job immensely easier!

 

-Daily; $25 won by Dennis Kratohwil.

-Progressive: $941 (20 cards). Dennis drew the king of hearts. Since this is not the King of Hearts Raffle there is a ROLLOVER!

 

-Greeter & Prayer: Brad Gutzler.

 

-Fun & Frolics: Scott Hezner.
