President Rich started us off with the Pledge, Dave Potts gave the prayer and Dennis Kratohwil celebrated International Ocean Day with the song “Surfing USA”.

 

-Polly Grover celebrated her daughter’s 30^th birthday.

 

-Robin O’Connor will chaperone an Honor Flight this summer.

 

-Foundation Minute: 30 June is the deadline for contributions to count toward a Club’s final giving amount to the Foundation for the Rotary year.

 

-Rotary Anniversaries: Dave Ritland - 8 years, Patricia Bleck – 4 years.

 

-There is an upcoming Board meeting on June 14^th at 5pm on Zoom. All are welcome.

 

-This year’s Installation Dinner is June 22nd at 5pm at Tom Zengleer’s house.

 

-Installation golf outing is June 30^th at 1 pm at White Deer Run. Doug Fendon has details.

 

-June 15^th is the last day for the Fun & Frolics contest. Awards on June 29^th.

 

-We are assisting with the primary election at transfer sites on the evening of June 28^th. Our salaries will go to the Foundation. If interested see Robin O’Connor.

 

-We had 6000 views of the post of last week’s meeting!

 

-The Program Committee: John McDonald, Robin O’Connor and Carol August received microphones for their good work.

-Lake County Center for Independent Living represented by Claudia Mancera.

 

-Love, Inc. represented by Tim Banks and Gary Garland.

 

-Reading Power represented by Beth Zender.

 

-Waukegan to College.

 

-Willow House represented by Mickayla Bedenian and David Scheffler.

 

-Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center represented by Katrina Volkers.

 

-Sue’s Pantry represented by Sue and M Ghandi.

 

-Allen J Lynch Medal of Honor Veteran’s Foundation.

Each group gave a short presentation on their mission and how they would use our contribution.
