FUN & FROLICS:
Doug Fendon got us in the mood for the Winter Fundraiser with slides showing appropriate attire for the event.

PROGRAM:
Our speaker today was Chris Dee talking on the subject of Medicare supplement policies and Part D drug plans. New Medicare Plan G is better than the old Plan F. All plans are the same except for the Humana HMO plan in Lake County. Funded by the Government, this plan requires a gatekeeper physician who must refer you to a specialist. The plus side is these plans are usually cheap or free. If you go to the emergency room and they want to have you kept overnight for observation, have your physician admit you. If admitted, it is covered by Medicare. If you are over 65 and leave employment, never take COBRA, it is too expensive.

Part D prescription drug plans must be enrolled or changed by December 7. Shop your Part D plan every year. Prices can change and covered drugs may be different. Chris doesn’t sell Part D plans but can guide you to a website that can help.

RAFFLE:
Daily: $29 won by Greg Hill.

Progressive: $937. Bill Taranowski did not draw the ace of spades. Rollover!
