Bill Taranowski bragged about his daughter graduating with honors from Purdue this
weekend.
Rich Babjak had his 400th Peloton ride.

Governor Mary Bak was in attendance this morning to present Glenn Garlick a District Service Award for his tireless efforts spreading the word to eliminate Polio from the world we live in. Congratulations Glenn.

Today’s program was Kathleen Boehm and Marly Subido from Mother’s Trust. Mary gave us and update on their activities including their Pop Up Prom Dress Event that Tom Zengeler is so instrumental in. Over 5000 dresses were donated this year. Along with this Mothers Trust works with Smith Menswear in Lake Forest to present 20 young men a dress suit that they can wear for prom and other significant events.
Since its founding, Mothers Trust has supported over 51,000 children and donated back over $5.5 million dollars in the community. The club has supported Mother’s Trust for over 15 years.

 

Dave Potts won $25 while Bill Taranowski lost on his bid to take home $293.
