SPECIAL PRESENTATION:
Today we presented retired member Pat Hart with a plaque commemorating his years of membership and service. Pat had 29 years of perfect attendance and attended some 1300 meetings. He served as Bulletin Editor and Bingo Chairman as well as helping to rewrite the Club bylaws. He is best remembered for the “Applauseometer” and the phrase: “Best day of my Life” when asked how he was doing. He will be missed, especially by the Bulletin Staff!
PROGRAM:
Today’s program was a recap of the recent Fundraiser by Howard Jaffe. Special thanks go to Howard for his role as event Chairman. He received 2 ½ Atta boys for his efforts! We sold 594 tickets and attendance was 644 counting the balcony seats given to LHS students and staff.
Revenue was down 10% from last year. Raffle revenue was up 7%. The auction was down 25%. Overall revenue was down $15k but still over $100,000. There were problems with One Cause, our new software for purchases and bidding.
Special thanks to Patricia Bleck (marketing), Jim Curtis (sponsors), Steve Risley, Kim Smith and Rich Schoeneman (auction items), Jon Robb (restaurants) and Tom Miller (systems).
